I know how the world can look right now, with all the war and horror.
However, that is not a cause for the attack of any people such as Jewish Americans, Palestinian Americans, Muslim Americans, etc.
That’s, sadly, what we are seeing right now.
Just as of a couple of weeks ago, we saw the senseless slaughter of Wadea Al Fayoume. In America, this was seen bipartisanly as an act of hate done by their landlord.
So why is it not hate when we kill the kids inside Gaza?
These kids aren’t involved either. Yet the American political sphere is attempting to convince us that there isn’t a genocide happening inside of Gaza. Am I saying Hamas is good? Of course not. Am I saying Israel is justified in the nuclear-bomb-level attacks being sent on Gazan citizens? Never. Never ever will I say Israel has the right to kill children.
If they wanted to get hostages back, I have no doubts that an American-backed Israeli military could make an optimal route to avoid casualties while getting innocent Israeli citizens out of Hamas’ hands.
However, it doesn’t seem like the Israeli government (specifically the government) wants that.
70% of people in Gaza are displaced with many living in inhumane conditions, UN agency says
“Palestinian workers who were expelled back to Gaza from Israel last week have accused Israeli authorities of “torture,” alleging they were stripped naked, held in cages, viciously beaten and, according to one worker’s account, subjected to electric shocks.” - CNN
The situation is bleak. Frankly, I don’t know what the final answer is. However, I do know, that fighting will not solve this issue.
