Kamala is still questionable, but Walz may be the answer.
We must continue to critique the Biden-Harris administration, even if gains have been made.
Joe Biden’s patriotic ousting
The removal of Joe Biden shows that electoralism is not the only option that the American people have. Without a primary, without a congressional approval, we have forced a Democratic presidential candidate to step down by espousing our distaste for the current administration.
That is truly unprecedented, and we should be proud of the work we have accomplished. Nevertheless, Kamala Harris, despite being 2 decades older and more popular among liberals, has decided that Palestinians are not worth her time.
“Now is the time to get a ceasefire deal and get the hostage deal done.”
The protestors continue, saying they won’t vote for genocide.
Harris then says, “You know what, if you want Donald Trump to win, then say that. Otherwise, I'm speaking!”
It took her mere moments to become hostile to the Palestinian peace movement. She has said nothing different than Joe Biden: the current President who has now allowed for this violence to continue for 10 months.
Arizona could be handed to the Republicans.
In 2020, Biden won by a marginal 10 thousand votes in the state of Arizona.
In the primary, Arizonians were told to vote for Marianne Williamson— this was due to Arizona primaries not having an “uncommitted” vote.
Marianne garnered 15,844 votes.
If those voters decide not to go out to the ballot box this election, Republicans will take the state of Arizona, and it will be the fault of the establishment’s robust love for Israel.
However, we finally have someone who may rock the boat.
Tim Walz.
Why Tim Walz may be the wildcard for a ceasefire
Let’s get the obvious out of the way, Walz is not a socialist.
However, with a 1 seat Dem majority in his state of Minnesota, they have accomplished:
- universal free school meals
- legalized marijuana
- carbon free electricity by 2040
- tax rebates up to $1,300, if making under $150k per year
- 12 weeks paid family leave
- 12 weeks paid sick leave
- banned conversion therapy
- red flag laws for guns
- universal background checks for guns
- automatic voter registration
- free public college (under $80k)
- ban on PFAS (forever chemicals)
- $2.2 billion increase in k-12 school funding
- sectoral bargaining for nursing home workers
Tim Walz, despite not being the most progressive candidate, is ready to get shit done to help the American people. He understands better than most Democrats that his job is important, and that passing legislation that constituents want can win elections (and in his case, lead to VP candidacy).
If he works in the same way he has in the past, he is likely to push Kamala into working with the progressive wing of the party towards pro-Palestinian policies— not because he isn’t pro-israel, but because gets shit done.
lets hope i am right.
